Ugandan singer Sheebah Karungi has returned home after spending three weeks in India, where she underwent a medical procedure that she says was successful.

In a message shared on her social media platforms, the musician expressed gratitude to God, her family, friends, and fans who supported her throughout the period of treatment and recovery.

“Three weeks in India and now back home with a grateful heart. What began as a journey for surgery became a reminder of the power of faith, love, and resilience,” Sheebah wrote.

While Sheebah did not disclose the nature of the surgery, she confirmed that the procedure was successful and thanked God for guiding her through the experience.

The singer described the trip as more than a medical journey, saying it strengthened her faith and appreciation for the people who stood by her during a difficult period.

“I thank God for seeing me through a successful procedure and bringing me safely back home,” she said.

The award-winning artist also thanked supporters who regularly checked on her, prayed for her, and sent messages of encouragement while she was receiving treatment abroad.

She said the overwhelming support she received helped her remain strong throughout the recovery process.

“To everyone who checked on me daily, prayed for me, called, texted, and kept me in their thoughts, thank you. Your support meant more than words can express,” she wrote.

In an emotional part of her message, Sheebah paid tribute to her son, describing him as her greatest blessing and a source of strength during her recovery.

She revealed that seeing him after hospital visits gave her the motivation to keep fighting and focus on healing.

“Every time I came back from the hospital and saw your face, I felt stronger. You reminded me of what truly matters and gave me the strength to keep going,” she said.

Although she has returned home, Sheebah noted that her healing journey is still ongoing. She said she remains grateful for life, good health, family, friendship, and the prayers that were offered on her behalf.

The singer ended her message with the words “Alhamdulillah”, expressing gratitude to God for a successful outcome.
