Former Gibeon Security Systems guard Marvin Webisa has been committed to High Court for trial over the alleged murder of TikToker Diana Namulinde, popularly known as Diana Skyz.
Webisa was committed by the City Hall Magistrates Court in Kampala after the court ruled that investigations into the case had been completed by the State.
According to court proceedings, the committal followed a prosecution application supported by an indictment outlining the evidence the State intends to rely on during trial.
The accused will face charges of murder, rape, and aggravated robbery-capital offences that are exclusively handled by the High Court and carry severe penalties upon conviction.
Prosecution informed court that the case file was ready for trial, prompting the magistrate to send the matter to the High Court for hearing.
The alleged offences relate to the death of former Kyanja-based TikToker Diana Namulinde, widely known as Diana Skyz.
Webisa will remain in custody as he awaits trial in the High Court.
