Shalom Namagembe, daughter of Ugandan opposition leader Bobi Wine and his wife Barbie Kyagulanyi, has achieved a new academic and professional milestone after becoming a certified phlebotomy technician in the United States.
Shalom announced that she had successfully completed all the requirements set by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) and officially obtained her Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification on June 26, 2026.
The certification recognizes her training and competence in phlebotomy, a medical field that involves collecting blood samples from patients for laboratory testing, diagnosis and medical research.
